Project Menzies Colombia
Assisted and managed pre-acquisition due diligence and post acquisition integration of a ramp and cargo company in Colombia operating in 5 airports and with over 1,200 employees, on behalf of Menzies Aviation plc, an international ground handling corporation. Establishing acquisition tax structure, negotiating with vendors for discounts and better credit facilities, establishing accounting controls and reporting formats to comply with headquarter requirements. Restructuring certain areas resulting in substantial ongoing savings and significant improvement on the quality and timeliness of financial information.

Project Talma/Grupo Sandoval
Helped Peruvian logistic group in integration of subsidiaries purchased in Mexico (Braniff) and in Peru (Swissport, Aeropuertos del Peru), integrating the accounting systems and structure, controls, cash flow planning, etc. Improved their legal structures in Mexico leading to substantial savings in taxes and a better protection of the companies’ assets.
Reviewed taxes (federal and state excise, sales and other taxes) paid by companies in the US, resulting in tax savings of millions of US$ both retroactive for previous years/periods, as well as future, moving forward, savings
